Dill Pickle Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Shredies®(D16)
  • 1 large tomato
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Dice the tomato and discard part of the seeds.
Stir together all the rest of the ingredients.

For a spicier version:

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Shredies®(D16)
  • 1 large tomato, finely diced
  • 1 medium pickled Jalapeno (Z732)
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, finelychopped
  • 1/3 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients and serve.
